Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the goods. The period begins on the day on which the consumer or a third party designated by them has taken possession of the goods.

Return Policy

Returns are only possible for new, unopened, and unused products. Products that have already been opened, consumed, or damaged are excluded from returns. Returns are accepted for both defective and faultless goods.

Return

The return will be made by post at the customer's expense and risk. The customer is responsible for properly packaging and shipping the return. A restocking fee of EUR 6.00 will be charged for each return, which will be deducted from the refund.

Exchange

An exchange for another product is possible. The customer bears the cost of return shipping.

Reimbursement

The purchase price will be refunded within 6 days of receipt of the returned goods. The refund will be made to the originally used payment method. The restocking fee will be retained.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be exceeded. This particularly applies to opened food and beverages.

Gift certificates for services

Consumers can generally cancel an online contract for a voucher within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period begins for a voucher for a service on the day of contract conclusion.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must contact Acetaia Pecoraro GmbH, Eisenhütte 32, 3400 Klosterneuburg, e-mail: pecoraro@balsamico.at, By means of a clear statement of his decision, inform the other party. To meet the deadline, the timely submission of the revocation declaration is sufficient.

In the event of an effective cancellation, all payments received will be refunded immediately and no later than 14 days after receipt of the cancellation notice using the same payment method used for the original payment, unless expressly agreed otherwise. The relevant voucher code will be blocked.

If the booked tour and tasting is to take place within the 14-day cancellation period at the express request of the consumer, an explicit declaration of this wish must be obtained before the start of the service. The right of withdrawal shall only lapse upon the complete provision of the service if the consumer has expressly agreed to the premature start and confirmed that he/she will lose his/her right of withdrawal upon full completion of the contract.

The mere transmission of the voucher as a PDF does not automatically lead to the loss of the right of withdrawal.
